If you are passionate about ministering to coaches and the athletes whom they influence, by seeing them come to know Christ and to grow in their faith, then you may be called to ministry with FCA. This is the vision of our ministry and FCA’s ultimate goal.

Area Director

The Area Director will prayerfully create and sustain the plan to grow the FCA ministry in the assigned geography through Board, Donor and Staff development.  The Area Director is responsible for working with staff and volunteers to fund and manage the finances of the ministry.  As the spiritual leader, guided by God and devoted to Jesus Christ, the Area Director models the FCA values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence in dealing with staff, volunteers, athletes and coaches. Area Directors are tasked with recruiting, hiring and training staff for the county that they oversee.

Area Directors are currently needed in these counties (Select the highlighted area in order to apply for that position):

Pennsylvania FCA Internship

These short-term field ministry roles provide ministry opportunities for college students and recent graduates intentionally designed to help the intern discern his or her call to Christ in sports at FCA. Much like a minor league “farm system,” internships provide exposure and experience serving with FCA. Internships are available locally serving at camps, on campuses and in the community, as well as internationally.

Area Representative

Qualified individuals should have a clear calling from God to minister to athletes and coaches, a servant’s heart and a passion for seeing lives changed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He/she will help coordinate local camps and clinics in partnership with area churches and assist in the recruitment and positioning of volunteers. Applicants will be responsible for raising support through fundraising and community events, and help cultivate donors and partner with churches. The person hired for this position must model the FCA core values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence.

The multiplying agents of FCA ministry, volunteers may serve in various capacities in order to help FCA realize our vision. These roles are defined as either Volunteer Team Members or Volunteer Ministry Leaders. Volunteer Ministry Leader roles require a volunteer application and background check as part of the affirmation process.

Administrative Assistant.

The Administrative Assistant performs administrative and clerical duties for the FCA field office; maintains computer updates; office file organization and retrieval systems; interfaces with ministry partners, vendors and FCA staff by email and telephone; maintains calendars, makes appointments and travel arrangements for assigned staff; prepares monthly expense reports; maintains documentation for local FCA checking account. Provides planning, coordination and support for FCA events in assigned area.
