CAMP MINISTRY

Camps are a time of "inspiration and perspiration" for athletes and coaches to reach their potential by offering comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training. The types of Camps are Multi-Sport Camps, Leadership Mini-Camps, Coaches Camps (Getaway weekend and Women in Sport Weekend), Power Camps for 8-12 year olds (non-residential) and Partnership Camps.



FCA CAMP CALENDAR
Eastern Metro Region

Women in Sport Weekend of Champions: May 16-18 -Historic Inn of Strasburg in Lancaster County.  Open to all Female Athletes, Coaches, Sport Fans, and women interested in sport ministry.  Cost is $150 for a double occupancy, $125 for triple, $100 for a quad.

Coaches Getaway Weekend (married couples only): June, 2008 - Valley Forge, PA, Cost is $460 per couple...limited to first 20 couples registered!

Kutztown Sports Camp: June 30-July 4, 2008 - Kutztown Un, Cost $395 (Golf $525)... boys sports offered are baseball, basketball, cycling, football, golf, soccer, speed/strength & conditioning, tennis, track/xc and wrestling. Girls sports offered are basketball, cheerleading, cycling, golf, soccer, softball, speed/strength & conditioning, tennis, track/xc and volleyball. Ages are 13-18.

Leadership Mini-Camps: July 25-27 - Eastern University, Cost $135 (all Central PA huddle members are eligible for a $100 scholarship if they have been elected to be a campus leader and get a recommendation from their huddle coach). The weekend camp is especially geared for high school leaders and the mid-week camp has a track for junior high leaders as well as high school leaders... both camps have a track for huddle coaches. Students and coaches who are trying to start a huddle on their campus are encouraged to attend and eligible for a scholarship.
